Our Aims
The main aim of the Club is to promote responsible dog ownership

Reedyford Dog Training Club is the only training club in the area affiliated to the Kennel Club. This means that as well as being able to run the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme, we can also stage our own Obedience Competition Shows.

We have two shows each year (in Spring and Autumn) which attract between 600 and 700 competitors from all over the UK.  These shows enable us to keep our training fees to a minimum.

We pride ourselves on having experienced, qualified trainers who work to a high professional standard. All of our trainers are volunteers and give their time for free.

At our enrolment evenings owners are able to speak to any of the trainers who will do their best to answer your questions. If you cannot come to an enrolment evening, we encourage you to come along at any time during a course, preferably without your dog, to watch a class in progress and see our training methods.

All breeds are welcome
We have full insurance
We have a qualified judge to assess the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme
